ATI Webinar: Preparing for the CNE™(n) Examination (CNE Novice)
The purpose of this offering is to enable the learner to expand their knowledge in preparation for successfully taking the certified academic novice nurse educator exam to validate knowledge of the role of the novice nurse educator. 5 contact Hours.

Objectives:
• Review the eligibility requirements and the test blueprint for the CNE®n exam
• Explore the role of the novice academic nurse educator
• Explore common theories and active teaching-learning strategies for facilitating learner development, critical thinking, and clinical judgment
• Examine a variety of strategies for assessment, evaluation, and data-driven decision making of the teaching-learning process, including programmatic assessment and evaluation
• Identify the steps in the process of curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation and the role the novice educator plays in the curricular process
• Discuss the ways of being a change agent within the organizational environment
• Discuss the ways nurse educators can engage in reflective improvement and continue career development in the novice nurse educator role
• Discuss ways of engaging in the scholarship of teaching
